Tokyo Game Show isn't for another couple of days, but that isn't stopping Sony from sharing their plans for the next year. Among those plans was a trailer full of suspicious looking teddy bears. Combine that with Spike Chunsoft, and that can only mean one thing: another Danganronpa game. Danganronpa 3 is coming to Japan in 2016, but that's about all anyone knows at the moment.
In previous Danganronpa titles, players found themselves in a closed-room scenario. In the first game, Trigger Happy Havoc, players were stuck in a school and the only way to escape was to get away with killing one of their friends. The first game in the franchise was originally released in Japan on the PSP in 2010 but was later ported to the PlayStation Vita and localized last year for North America. The second title, Goodbye Despair, placed you in a similar situation except this time they were stranded on a deserted island. Solving the island's mysteries whlie getting away with murder was the only way to escape.
The only details we have on Danganronpa 3 is that it's coming to Japanese PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita systems next year. Spike Chunsoft promises that the upcoming murder mystery title isn't going to be like anything we've seen before, so any speculation at the moment is as good a theory as any. It's a safe bet that those teddy bears are up to no good, though.
