Florida teacher Jennifer Fichter is facing decades in prison after she pleaded guilty to a staggering 37 child sex charges on Thursday, according to reports.
Fichter, 29, was arrested in April of last year, standing accused of having sex with three of her former students at Central Aerospace Academy in Lakeland, Fla.
She also allegedly became pregnant by one of the students she had sexual relations with, though she later had an abortion, the Tampa Tribune reports.
Two more boys stepped forward following her initial arrest, which involved only one male student, though the first victim recalled 10 different encounters.
"We got there, and I got in her truck," the victim said of one alleged encounter in Jennifer Fichter's Toyota Tacoma pickup. "We talked a little bit, we kissed a little bit."
"Then she said, 'Let's get in the back,' so we got in the back. She started taking her clothes off, then we took mine off. Then she started, like, messing with me."
You can use your imagination from there on out.
Each charge of unlawful sexual activity with a minor carries a maximum 15-year sentence in Florida, meaning Fichter could live out the rest of her life in jail.
It seems unlikely that she'll do that much, but a guilty plea to 37 counts - on three different people - should send her away for a decent length of time.
Her sentencing is scheduled for July, so we won't find out until then. Here's a look at some other teachers who have gone down this very same road
