Shift Happens. Deal with it. If you can't deal with it alone, grab a friend for some co-op platforming. At least, that's what Klonk Games and Deck 13 want to say with their latest platformer. Shift Happens is a two player co-op puzzle platformer that's available as an early access title on Steam right now. The "shift" part in Shift Happens is actually a core puzzle solving mechanic and not just a clever play on words.
The two main protagonists, Bismo and Plom, are bound together by accident and have to shift their sizes around to overcome various puzzles. When one gets small, the other gets larger, which can lead to some pretty funny interactions between the two. Once the laughter dies down, it becomes a matter of shifting the right hero to the right size in order to overcome the next obstacle.
Shift Happens is available on Steam Early Access now. The game is scheduled to launch in 2016's first quarter as a digital release on Steam, PS4, and Xbox One. Grab your best friend and prepare to deal with some shifty puzzles when your platform of choice gets the shift early next year.
