While Game of Thrones Season 5 doesn't begin until Sunday, teenage cast member Maisie Williams is trying her best to get even more people talking about her.
The 17-year-old, who recently booked a role on Doctor Who, was quite vocal in an interview with Dazed about how adults just assume people her age are superficial.
"I get a lot of adults who are like, 'You don’t know sh-t,' and it's like, 'You don’t know sh-t. You have no idea what it's like to be 17 years old.'"
The star is understandably less than impressed with her elders.
Williams has been a rising star since debuting on Game of Thrones as Arya Stark and has been linked to big blockbusters, like the movie adaptation of Sony's hit video game The Last Of Us.
The actress also talks a bit about her becoming a role model.
"Whether I like it or not, I've become influential to people," she said. I don't wanna be liked just because I’m pretty. That's f--king boring, and I'm not that."
"Lots of young people in the industry try to play it cool, but it just makes them look like arrogant dickheads. I'd much rather be liked because people realize that I’m standing up for myself."
Well said, Maisie! What do you think of the young star's comments? Discuss below as we count down the minutes until the HBO epic returns at last ...
