The end for Teen Mom 2 cast member Leah and her husband of three years, Jeremy Calvert, could be nigh following this telling Tweet from the reality star.
The couple’s relationship has been marred with tumult, and dueling rumors of infidelity on both sides for the past year, and they recently spent their anniversary apart.
Though her verified Facebook fan page posted on April 4, “Today makes 3 years of marriage for Jeremy and I. #ANNIVERSARY,” her Twitter told a different story.
There has been no official split as of yet, but this was exactly the negative sign many observers interpreted it to be, according to a source close to Calvert.
“Jeremy has been telling people for weeks now he’s going to file for divorce from Leah,” says the insider, while another source says it's very much in flux.
“They’re not really fighting so much. It’s just a lot of small things that just build up over time, but it does seem like they’re breaking up now,” that source notes.
If you watch Teen Mom online, you know that Messer, 22, has been taking care of her three children at home while Calvert has been working out of town.
The couple shares daughter Adalynn, 2, in addition to parenting her twin girls with ex-husband Corey Simms, Ali and Aleeah, 5. It's a lot for her to handle.
This caused a great deal of strife, and continues to be a point of contention, on top of the escalating rumors that surrounded both of their lives recently.
Jeremy was caught hollering at Brittany Musick (below) on his phone, and telling the pretty single mom that his marriage to Leah was pretty much over months ago.
This followed speculation that Leah was cheating on her man with Robbie Kidd, her former boyfriend before she married Corey. It was far from pretty.
Despite all this, they appeared to weather the storm, and the fact that they've made it three years in their marriage says a lot about the effort they put in.
Still, you wonder if they're just too different or there's just too much up in the air for them to make it work, and if an amicable split might even be best.
