The official Pokémon site was updated today with all the details confirming new alternate "formes" for Zygarde to add to its arsenal, along with a mysterious new form for Greninja. These were first spotted in CoroCoro magazine scans that were leaked late last week.
The names of the different Formes have been localized as Zygarde Cell, Zygarde Core, Zygarde 10% Forme, and the "perfect" Zygarde Complete Forme. Until this point, players have only encounted the Legendary Pokémon in its snake-like "50% Forme" from the Generation VI titles. It's said Zygarde Complete Forme will be stronger than Xerneas and Yveltal, which is interesting considering its two "shoulder pads" boast colors reminiscent of the two Legendary Pokémon. Maybe the Complete Forme can only be achieved by absorbing the power of the other two? I think the different Zygarde forms look good; the jump from the 10% Forme to the "regular" 50% Forme is a bit of a stretch!

Greninja too will attain some sort of new form called "Ash-Greninja" which is said to occur when its bond with anime series protagonist Ash Ketchum is "raised to the limit." Apparently this also entails Greninja taking after some of Ash's current attire. The Pokémon Company is teasing this phenomenon as something that has happened just once "several hundred years ago" in the Kalos region, so of course it's bound to happen again in the anime.
Interestingly, the long-running television anime series is also being updated with a new season starting this October 29th in Japan called "Pokemon XY & Z". Does this mean Pokemon Z is being hinted for 2016?
