Does a livestream need a teaser? When that livestream pertains to an upcoming Destiny expansion, then yes, it does. In advance of Bungie's Expansion II: House of Wolves Twitch reveal on Wednesday (that's April 22), the developer dropped a short teaser trailer for the upcoming content.
The video is a brief 33 seconds and shows three Guardians being invited to the Reef. We get a few quick shots of the new social hub within the Queen's domain, as well as some of the new characters and gear in the expansion. Although the Queen's Fallen subjects wound up turning on the Awoken, a few of them remain friendly -- or neutral -- and are found in the new social hub as NPCs.
It looks like the Reef will feature many female NPCs as well, likely because the Queen runs a matriarchal operation out there in the ship graveyard.
Expansion II: House of Wolves launches for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on May 19. Tune into the Bungie Twitch channel at 11:00 AM Pacific later today to see more of the Reef and new upgrade paths. Again, that's April 22, in a few hours.
